If he gets in office, we're doomed. Not just RKBA, we're doomed as a nation.

:iagree: Just the thought of it makes me sick to my stomach. It's made even more evident by his choice of VP :grumble:

I disagree. We have survived as a nation for over 225 years and more than 40 different administrations. We have had very corrupt presidents and administrations before, as well as hard core left and right wing administrations. We have survived them all, and we will survive Obama if need be.

And, for the good side, I really do not see him winning. It is hard to win when your running mate has said the opposition is well qualified. It is hard to win when one of the most respected politicians on your side asks who you would rather have and suggest the other guy (guy you agree with half the time but can deliver). And it is hard to win when your party is still divided and you have driven a large number to third parties or not voting (Clinton supporters).

I thought this election was sewn up by the Democrats a year ago. I said it was theirs to lose but the Republicans coul dnot win it. So far, it looks like the Democrats are going out of their way to lose. McCain could forfeit or make a really bad mistake still, but I think he will win by about a clear plurality overall (close but not close enough to cause cries of theft or rigging the election).
