My dad; Hurricane Ike

My dad, in his "wisdom", decided to return to Orange County, which is under a mandatory evacuation, to secure some things in his house.
He had made it to a safe area with my grandmother, step-mom, youngest sister and the dog. I was actually calling to let him know we were safe (we got out much later), and discovered at that time that he & the dog had returned. I was so disappointed in him, and told him so. I told him to go back to Conroe, but he said that the weather was already starting to stir, and it was too late.
Please keep him in your prayers, as well as all others that are going to be dealing with the effects of Hurricane Ike. From watching the news, I understand that some Galveston residents are trapped in. It looks a lot worse than what we thought a few days ago; I don't think most SE Texas residents were prepared for something this bad.
I think a large portion of this forum are evacuees (or should be); please lift us up in your prayers.
