Out of their shop in Spring, TX, today I received a package with, on the receipt, a big red "Thank you" and smiley face from Jenn... and a roll of Smartie candies!!

Oh, did I mention that also in the box was my brand-spanking new Comp-Tac Belt Holster and Twin Mag Pouch!!
:woohoo

Now if I can convince the woman who lets me share her bedroom that going to Jacobs Plain is more important than mowing the lawn... I may get to try it out. <Dave dry firing like crazy to get used to new equipment>

I decided that my needs were more important than my wants. Two weeks ago I gave up on the Tucker I ordered on May 1 and placed an order with Comp-Tac. So far I'm liking what I received today. Simple, comfortable, easy to use. I'll re-order the Tucker another time for sure, I just needed something better than the gimme holster that came with my Springer 1911.

I order my Holster after reading the review. I got an e-mail the other day that stated they had some generators running and that my holster was getting set to enter production. I am cuerently deployed, and should be home in a few weeks, so I am glad I had ordered now. I just keep praying for the speedy recovery of that region of Texas. I was in North Carolina when Isabell hit, that was something I dont want to see again.
