A good deterrent for those of you with wooden fences is to put carpet tack strip along the inside top of the fence. If you have a fence jumper you will get a good collection of bits of clothing caught in the tack strip, and skin chunks too.

Yeah, but I'll bet that it would be considered a booby trap here in Texas.

Judging by the amount of razor wire I see around town, I would suspect that the city of Houston disagrees with that sentiment.

The council said that a fence on the property must be a post or rail fence, not barbed wire.
Thats fine, rail fence it is!
Of course, I'm gonna put a pair of Doberman's behind it.... and a sign stating:
"My Doberman's can make the fence in 2.3 seconds, can YOU"?

And not necessarily di-oxyribo nucleic acid (or something like that)
I was thinking of another breakdown of the acronym...

you know, if you put some voltage on that barbed wire folks will be a lot less likely to touch it.
Think of it as a safety feature, in the public interest.
