Went to a TGI Fridays in Dallas, off of Preston Road.
Saw a strange sign. In addition to the "unlicensed posession a felonly" sign in both english and spanish. It said something like:
"Es Illegal traer la pistola ar armas in su propidad"

Since it's not illegal to bring a pistol into the property, what the heck?

Lol I guess that Fridays only wants armless hispanics to come visit? :confused5

I think it's kind of low saying in spanish, "no guns" but not in english.

Makes for some good water cooler conversation here...

But for all intensive purposes...I'd either ignore it, which you can legally...

Or, there are mas bueno tacos elsewhere...

Taco Bueno's stuff is pretty good...

I'll bet that if you asked a manager to come out, pointed at the sign and spoke rapid-fire Spanish, throwing in "la raza" frequently and indignantly, you could probably get free meals at the very least.

Gonna guess - "Es illegal traer la pistola a armas en su propiedad."

It is illegal to bring handguns (sic) on (their) property.

If it said "pistola o armas" it would imply "all armaments" not just pistols.

My guess - "Es ilegal traer pistolas en nuestra propiedad."

We're close...

To which I reply:

"Tomaré mi dinero y el negocio en otra parte, desde que usted falta al respeto mi derecho de mantener y portar armas para auto defensa."
