Probably going to invest in one this week, figured I'd see if anybody out there had something to offer before I head to Academy. I only want something in 12 guage and prefer a FTF transaction.

I do too, but I'm in Houston(north). I also want something somewhat cheap that works, doesn't have to be a beauty, just dependable, preferably a pump and 12ga. So you got a free bump to the top, and I got my ad out there. Happy Thanksgiving.

Go to the Academy on Forest Ln. They have a sweet Mossberg with pistol grip for $329. Trust me, just go and take a look. You'll buy it.

I do not want to side line this thread, but every time that I have gone hunting with a pump shotgun, I shoot one time and then after a few choice words, I pump to get the second round in only to have missed the prey.
I used to use a side by side and swithced to a auto 12 guage for hunting. I have always had it in the back of my mind that if in a home defense situation I may do the same thing. I use a auto 12 guage with 00 Buck in it for home defense.
Just my .02.

I guess I have luck with pump shotgun, I haven't missed until the 6th cell, it goes a little high.
Some of you guy remember the LFI instructor Debbie Morris who fires five 12 gauge Magnum rounds into her target in one second, flat.

I ended up buying an H&R Pardner Protector with the 18.5" barrel for $190 out the door. No pics yet but I'll get some up soon.
