It's More Fun When the Kids Get One!!

I posted this at Beretta and thought I'd share it here as well.
Three of the four children got something.
Unfortunately, no bucks showed for my son's hunt.
My 15 yr old took aim and fired within 3 seconds of me telling her to "OK, Take That One!". It looks like a bad shot in the photo but she hit it at the top of the shoulder at the base of the neck, shattering it's back. Then the bullet bounced down and exited the ribs where shown. I didn't realize a 165gr. 30-06 would turn that much inside a deer but this one did. When she skinned & butchered it, (yes, they all had to clean their own) she found bullet fragments around the spine.
My youngest took the feet of hers and made an interesting still life picture for her art class. I hope her teacher isn't an animal lover.
My oldest is 20 and she says she will eat the meat but has no interest in meeting the cow. However, she is a deadly shot so she'll do fine.
