Where might the 09 TX State IDPA Match be held ? Dates ? Where's a good place to watch for information ?

That's a very good question, Piney. CCIDPA will NOT be hosting the 09 TX state IDPA championship. So far, nobody has claimed it.
I started a thread on the IDPA forum a week or so ago forum and nobody knows the answer.

Gary, I heard it's going to be a postal match.
Just kidding, but I do wish it would get settled as some people need to put in for vacation time, especially those who work the match.

Collin County IDPA turned the TX State IDPA Championship match over to our Area Coordinator, Mike Webb, as we needed a break after 4 sanctioned matches in a row. In 2005 and 2006 we hosted the North Texas Regional....In 2007 and 2008 we hosted the Texas State Championship. Almost everyone wanted a break including me. Mike has promised the TX State match back to Collin County IDPA for 2010. We'll look forward to seeing all of you back in North Texas then.

We were approached at Angelina Rifle & Pistol Club too. Manpower was the BIG issue. We dont have enough for that size match & Sunday is out for me.
