Holster Noises!

I have a holster made of Boltaron 4330, a type of high quality plastic rather like Kydex in appearance. I have only one complaint and I'm fairly sure it's common with all synthetic material holsters: Noise! It makes a distinct, loud clicking noise when I un-holster or re-holster. My leather holsters are almost silent.
I guess it's a trade off. I far prefer the synthetic holster for a variety of functional reasons over the leather. Yes, leather holsters are beautiful in comparison, but so are flintlocks over black rifles...I opt for newer technology.
In this case though, the noise is not only a bother, it could give me away when I may need to be silent to protect my life. I've applied 303 Aerospace Protectant and it helped some, but not enough to totally dampen the sound.
Any ideas of how to totally silence the sound or is this just the nature of the beast?
Thanks.

Just Food For Thought - I think that is the nature of the beast and that most attempts to eliminate the noise would defeat the purpose of having a plastic holster. Basically, you have two hard materials [gun and plastic] touching each other. A thicker holster material might help? You could put some kind of padding on the holster, but that would slow down your draw. The 303 Aerospace Protectant is just a plasticizer, that may keep the surface slick, but won't dull the noise. Does the BG know what the noise is? If you are having to shoot directly after drawing, the disadvantage of the noise might not matter.

WildBill,
I'm not holding out much hope on the noise front, but someone, somewhere may have come up with a solution...
I'm thinking about the noise problem along the lines of: You're in the back of a business and suddenly a hold up is in progress and your life's in grave danger. Other scenarios come to mind. Quiet is good.

if you can take the retention down a notch and then slowly and lightly pull up when drawing it should work.
at least it does on my comptac infidel. It makes a quiet thud sound when drawing and still retains the gun extremely well.

If I ever have to draw my sidearm - God forbid! - I'm well past the point of caring what kind of noise it makes. It can play Ride of the Valkyries for all I care.

It would be so awesome if "life" had a soundtrack like the movies do.

I believe I saw where Tucker Gunleather was building a lined Kydex holster called a Silent Thunder.

I have one and it is terrific and I use mine quite often! It is quiet as the name implies. It holds the gun securely but the draw is still quick. It also, can be can at any angle you want.

You could line it with Leather,,,,,,ummmmmm Kidding, I found some real thin rubber strips with stick on one side for a similar issue with a boot knife that rattled in a Kydex holster. I found them at Hobby lobby in the modelling section.
They were red, the thickness of manilla paper. Sorry I forget what there actual purpose was but I do these little trips to places like that to just find unknown things I can do stuff with. I tinker alot!!!!!

I really appreciate everyone's input.
The rubber lining idea I'll try.
If that doesn't work, I just may buy a Silent Thunder.
