I have a built-in life preserver just above my beltline. What are the best holsters for concealing a Glock 26 or Ruger P-89 for the well-endowed waistline?

Thanks!

+1 for Comptac. I have tried a lot of other holsters and the most comfortable I have found is the comptac. They also are great people to deal with.

60" waist here, well now 56" thanks to some dieting, but yea, I'm pretty big and I carry a glock 30 in a comp-tac infidel( with Gurkha strut) at around 5 o'clock.

I don't even notice having it on.

I used the same holster at about 3 o'clock when I had a 46" waist.

Does anyone know if a Tucker Texas Heritage would work in this situation... I just ordered one for myself for a 1911 and I'm starting to second guess...

I ordered one last year Sept?? maybe, haven't received it yet to comment. Think they are 6 or 7 months behind...that said, I have been very happy with my Comptac minotaurs for XD and 1911. They had a two week turnaround.

From their website:
Top Quality "The Answer," Texas Heritage and Cover Up IWB Holsters to fit any concealment need.

Lead time is down to a One-month turnaround.

Every Tucker IWB-style holster is tuckable, comfortable, and concealable.
Might want to send Rob an email to follow up.

Looks like I need to go find the order :headscratch I ordered a couple of HF1's at the same time, maybe they got confused??

Update: I ordered two HF1's 8/20/08...Rob said 7 month (Marchish 09) delivery in his confirmation. I must not have ordered the IWB due to the cost of the other two. I can't remember last month, much less last August. Guess I misspoke, I can't find a confirmation for the IWB in my archives....Oh well, I'll wait now with the "CHANGEing" economy.

I have the same built in feature. I like IWB at 3:30... I currently carry a full size 1911 or G17 in a Milt Sparks VMII. Both are very comfortable.

I just got my new holster in the mail a couple of days ago. Bought a Crossbreed Supertuck in horsehide and it is very comfortable. So far I would recommend this holster.

funny I came here today about this issue, I bought a holster today for my Glock 21 came home to see if it was visible in my normal clothing (a polo shirt) and for the most part if I don't move it is barely visible however I raise my hands, bend over or any other movement that moves the shirt around my waist and I can see it. Now I am sure if I lose weight so my chest is larger then my waist it should not be an issue or I could just buy larger shirts  wearing extra clothing here this time of year is just not an option.
