It is that time of the year again. Time for those of us who are called to serve in a local elected capacity to file paperwork and get on the ballot for the May election. I would encourage everyone to remember that the local elections can impact your daily lives more than the elections at the state or federal level. I would also ask that anyone who is in the Leander ISD area (Leander, Cedar Park, Jonestown, Steiner Ranch, etc.) to take a look at Nathan Deckinga for the upcoming election and consider voting as such in the race for place 2.

I'm going to be at a Winkley PTA fundraiser at Bush's Chicken (1431 and Walton Way) tomorrow night if anyone wants to stop by and say Hi. Also, if you have a gathering and wouldn't mind - I would love to stop by and introduce myself to hopefully get some additional votes in May.

The spring election season is almost upon us and my race is starting to heat up. I would be most appreciative for anyone here who would put a sign in their yard, donate to my campaign, or invite me to gatherings to meet the voters. This is a call for help - the election is just over 2 months away and I can use all the help I can get!
