One of my friends wants to plan a ninja gathering at Red Lobster on Valentine's day. Basically, everyone dresses up like a ninja and then goes to eat.

Now my first thought was: Hehe, that sounds kinda fun.

My second thought was: But it's a bad idea... a bunch of people in ninja suits. Public disturbance, CHLers...

My third thought was to ask you guys. Good / bad idea?

You might want to ask the manager what he/she thinks of the idea. After all, that's probably where the 911 call will originate.

What ever you decide, have fun and be sure you have your lawyers number handy.

Red Lobster? That is a terrible, terrible idea. People could get hurt you know.

** Never use your ninja skills to harm animals. Or to break in peoples houses.

** Dressing all in black with one's face covered will raise alarm if spotted.

** One must be truly ready to accept the consequences one's actions will bring. (You might be a Ninja, but cops are like Batman)

If you have to ask....well, er, uh..you already know the answer. You could possibly get more attention than you want.

If you can get 15 people not only should you do it, but you should also try to arrange some "flash mob" type activities. Fun stuff.

If it was a "TRUE" Ninja gathering, then you would never be waited on because you would never be seen.....

I don't think anyone seeing people dressed up as ninjas would view them as a serious threat. If part of your costume entails carrying around illegal blades then that's a different story.

he is right though, how would you get served if you arent really there???

Better yet you should go to the mall and take some photos. That way you'll have proof of the godless killing machines the next time the topic of Mall Ninjas comes up.

Your group might be better received, by both management and the other patrons, at a Chuckie Cheese if there's one in your area.

This raises an important philosophical question: Can a true ninja photograph another ninja?

This raises an important philosophical question: Can a true ninja photograph another ninja?

I'm inclined to think that the first order of business would be an epic fight to the death. Then the victorious ninja would be able to photograph his defeated enemy. However, at that point the fallen ninja would no longer be able to practice good ninjaing, so he would be fair game to any snap-happy camera carrier.
