Is Obama In The News More Than Bush Was?

Or does it just seem like that?

Anytime I turn on T.V. his ever so earnest mug is smiling at me like Alfred E. Neuman. Selling his ludicrous ideas continuing to prove he's a bush league pol far out of his element...

I can't bear to hear any politician's views on anything at this point. My tolerance for being considered an idiot by my so-called representative in government has once again bottomed out.

Enough already!

I'm going to back to my not viewing the news. I did this for a very long time and was far more at peace for it. Ignorance can be bliss! Besides, what you hear politically isn't rarely the truth anyway, so why bother?

The cornerstone of democracy is the informed citizen - so I learned in government class many moons ago.

The angry, manipulated, rolaids crunching citizen who's kept in the dark by our slickest criminals. Representative government, pppffffftttttttt! The only thing represented is what's best for the shrewd, totally self interested politician.

When the HBO series "Deadwood" was airing, their criminal characters ranged from petty to calculating. The highest ranking among these gangsters was the politician.

Nothing's changed...

Rant off!

Not watching the news can do wonders for your blood pressure, indigestion and your spiritual life, too!

Obama is a media darling. The media promoted him and do not want, cannot afford, to see him in other than a very positive, if not biased, light. OTH, the media hated Bush because he wouldn't smooz with them and/or admit error - and he did make a few.

BTW, I'm sick of 'em too.

And I keep seeing "Obama" videos and books and magazines at grocery store checkout counters. I can't remember this happening with any president in modern history. BTW, he does remind me a lot of Alfred E. Neuman. :smilelol5:

The ObaMessiah took over the airwaves for over 1 hour last week to push the pork package. He has another prime time lovefest scheduled for next week.

I wonder if the Great and Powerful Obama has finished reading the whole pork package yet.

I believe the answer to your question is YES!

But what do you expect. The man and his family have certainly settled into the office and seem comfortable hosting parties, using the "company" plane to go to Chicago for dinner on V-Day, and to promote his political agenda. With this much spending on his part to get his message to the masses, he probably should be covered by the press.

I just hope that someone catches on and does an analysis of cost to the taxpayer. Meanwhile, the White House Chef and the crew of Air Force 1 will be staying too busy to watch the news. The bright spot here is that they will be bringing in enough overtime pay to make a serious dent in the current recession (if they ever get a chance to spend it).

And to stimulate their economy, the Chinese are reducing taxes.

We're heading in their old direction and they're...

We'll see who comes out ahead.

Here in the DFW area, there is a KIA dealership that runs a bunch of ads which are obviously a take-off on Obama campaign events. Now, I don't claim to know a thing about KIA automobiles. For all I know, they are the best car ever made. But I'll never buy one. That ad is a major turn-off. Whoever thought it up is an advertising moron.

Bush was probably "in the media" as much, or at least "almost as much," as Obama. The difference is that most of the Bush coverage was negative and often overtly disparaging, while Obama's coverage is all sweetness and light, and it smells like strawberries when he passes gas.

WARNING: The ObaMessiah is taking over the airwaves tomorrow night.

I want to see him debate Dave Ramsey and explain how America will spend its way out of debt.

Would you have ever concidered a Kia anyway?
I might be way out of with my narrow perspective of the world, but from what I've observed. People who buy Kias are the same people who bought Yugo's and are the same people that vote as leftist. Funny thing though is a lot of the same people that fly in private jets and limousines will call a Hummer obscene.

Apologies to any conservative Kia owners out there, but I really never heard or seen of one before.

There are a lot of Rockefeller Republicans but there are still some people are conservative for philosophical reasons even though they're not rich.

Its not about how rich they are, but given the same budget I think Conservatives would be more likely to buy a something like ford ranger or even American made Toyotas, If they were were interested in an inexpencive Korean car they would tend towards a Hyundai. As I said just a general observation, I could be wrong.
