Paranoia Alert: What's your "Check Cashed by DPS" timeframe?

I hand delivered my app on 2/9 and the check has yet to clear. I called the CHL folks today, and the guy I talked to said that when the packets come in, the checks are separated and sent to another building. Many of the timeframes I see in y'alls sigs show a difference of 3-6 days from "received by DPS" to "check cashed by DPS".
Am I just being paranoid that they lost my check? Will it hold things up if they DID lose it? I have a receipt, but will that do any good?
