My 2008 Season....Best Ever!!!

Well I thought I would share some pictures from my 2008 season. However, first I would like to state that I have NEVER been a trophy hunter. Don't get me wrong for I have always wanted a wall hanger but the biggest deer I have ever killed, in 15 years, has been an 8pt that scored about 100. :) I never did mind though due to I truly enjoy hunting. Well now that I live in TX I have made some friends around here and have a few new places to hunt. Talk about a GREAT year. Here it goes:
My first Muledeer in velvet, opening day for Archery in 2008 and my sons b-day 9/27/08
Texas Muledeer. Unfortunately, you can only take one muledeer per season so I couldn't shoot him but look at the big boy standing in the back. 10/5/2008.
My first muledeer in NM. Got him on 11/15/2008
Anyway, I don't care if I never have another year like 2008 but I will say it is one I will never forget. :)

Oklahoma 8pt Whitetail - Gross 136" - was my largest to date 11/23/2008
Texas Big Daddy 10pt Whitetail. Got him less than one week after the 8pt. Talk about a happy camper. He is 20" wide (inside spread) and scored 152".
