SCOTUS upholds Protection of Lawful Commerce In Arms Act

Yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the appeal of two cases in which New York City and shooting victims in Washington, D.C., were trying to sue firearms manufacturers. The appellants' cases had already been turned down by lower courts.
This action by the Supreme Court upholds the constitutionality of the Protection of Lawful Commerce In Arms Act, which prohibits plaintiffs from suing firearms manufacturers and dealers who act legally.
