OK: No Taxing The Constitution

Taken from the March 09 issue of 1st Freedom (NRA)

An Oklahoma state legislator has announced plans to file a measure that would repeal the state sales tax on the purchase of guns and ammunition in the Sooner State. Eric Proctor, a Tulsa Democrat, recently told the Tulsa Word, "As Americans, we should not have to pay a tax to exercise our constitutional rights - especially our Second Amendment right."

BRAVO!

Why can't we have more Democrats like that around the country and why isn't one of our state legislators introducing a similar bill right now? In fact an exemption to sales tax should extend to anything having to do with this; reloading equipment and supplies, instruction, range fees or memberships, etc.

That would be very nice, but what about the other Dem's who don't own guns and feel that guns are evil? Don't they need love too?

Well, they won't be paying taxes on guns either, so I see it as a win-win partisan thing! "rlol"
