Clean a holster?

Hi Forum...help me out? Should the inside of a holster be periodically cleaned? If so, any special product recommended? Thanks.

What kind of holster do you have? Leather, Kydex, hybrid? IMO I wouldn't worry about it unless you have inordinate amounts of debris on your gun. Have you been able to take a peek inside to see if it's mucked up?

I guess I should've been more specific. I have a leather holster...OWB. It's pretty hot and dry around here. I'm not sure that it truly needs cleaning...just kinda' thinking about how to keep it in as good as condition as is possible. Thanks

Holster makers differ on holster care, so first check to see if they provide care instructions.
Some recommend treatments while others don't want anything used.
It's always ok to use a toothbrush to brush away lint or dust from the inside.
