Public Apology to AG-EE

AG-EE and I have been PMing, and he wanted to take a class at our school. I told him I would sign him up, and I failed to do so. He drove all of the way there and since he did not have a reservation, he was not allowed in.
He only mentioned it to me in private, but I feel the need to apologize more than in private.
I take total responsibility for this screw up, and I hope he forgives me. I have made a offer to him to try to make it right.
AG-EE, again I am very sorry.

Don't feel lonesome, it can happen to any of us at one time or another, especially when "multi-tasking".
A few years back a lady had taken one of my renewal classes and told me that her husband would be needing one in just a few months. She filled out the registration form and gave me a deposit check for a "call list". We deposited the check and guess who misfiled the registration form and therefore did not call the man? An unhappy camper (and rightfully so) when SHE called me.

Everyone makes mistakes.
It is how the person who makes the mistake handles the mistake afterwards that sets the tone with me, and I'd say you are on the right track with this one..

+1. Well said.
TXI, I applaud you for your public action. It shows that you have class. With all you and DFW have gone through recently, it's a wonder you even remember your name.

Thank you txinvestigator. You have made more than a reasonable offer to correct it, and I also feel that I was partially to blame since I didn't follow up properly. I wasn't angry, as I knew it was an honest mistake, and not discrimination against ugly fella's!
Customer service is declining in most areas of commerce these days, but you have exceeded the mark.

Is "Ugly" a legally protected minority class? If so, I want my preferential treatment!
