Has anyone seen one of these yet? Anyone know of a local shop (DFW) that I could see one at?
I'm in need of a good pocket gun, and I thought this looked good on the Kel-Tec web site.

Kel-Tec had expected to ship PF-9s to Distributors (they don’t sell to dealers) by late June but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were July

Ok

I’ve had a PF-9 on order ($226) since late February and I’ll likely buy a second one. However, it will not be true pocket pistols in my opinion. The PF-9 will have about the same height and length of a P-11 but considerably thinner. I expect the PF-9 will take a 20% bite out of the P-3AT sales, possibly as much as 50% of the P-11 market and a huge chunk from the Kahr PM9 which is almost twice the price.

Yeah it does. I have the P-11 and a De Santis pocket holster, fits nicely in my back pocket. I would imagine the thinner PF-9 will be even better.

I’m looking for a pocket pistol for when I can’t carry my 1911. How reliable is the p-11?
I went shopping this weekend and was looking at the p-11 cause it’s 9mm and holds 10+1 and can be slipped into a pocket. While I was there the salesman showed me a S&W 642 w/ CT laser grips, considerable more $$$, but if the Kel-Tec is unreliable I wouldn’t want to carry it.
So my question is would you get the Kel-tec now or save for the S&W 642. I’ll probably end up buying both anyway.

I have only run about 50 rounds thru my P-11 but not a problem yet. My slide felt rough the first time I pulled it back so I went looking for a user group. They suggest doing a little polishing on it before firing it, I just cleaned and oiled mine and worked it a while it loosened up. Here is a place ot find info on the P-11

All KT's have proved to be reliable except the P3AT. That one has had many issues & is either good out of the box or real problem. All others are good. Recoil in the P11 is pretty substantial for some folks. It is not the quality arm that will take 10,000 rds of range time but for PD & easy conceal it is great. You should have no trouble w/ it.
