I've dealt with Becky at Sporting Arms several times - very nice to work with. My dad is about to order a 1911 from her, once he figures out what he wants. Did you place the order online? I always just call or email her directly. My wife bought my CBOB for my Christmas present this year - Becky hunted around until she found me one. It might take a while, but she'll find you one.

i did order online friday night. Their recording says they are open tuesday to friday, so i guess ill find out tuesday!

I've bought several guns from Becky @ Sporting Arms. Including a CBOB (mine is not for sale). Fair
prices, and if she doesn't have it, she'll get it for you. Go to the Sportingarms.com site and
send a email. That usually will get a faster response than leaving voice messages.IMO.
*edit: sometimes The Armory in Mesquite, Tx. has one in stock.

I found out today the Dan Wesson was not in stock. I guess I will wait awhile, the prices are getting a bit high anyway. Oh Well!

IMHO the place to buy Dan Wessons is Ghost Products (also dba as CZ Custom).
They're associated with CZ/Dan Wesson USA and got my last gun from the factory in about 3 days. They also have parts and do superb custom work. Champion CZ shooter Angus Hobdell is the owner.
The posted price on the bobtail .45 is $992.79. Coincidentally, I've been seriously considering ordering one for myself in the next few days. I have a new Razorback and it's such a gorgeous well made pistol I'm itching to get another DW.

I will check into them as well. I have Alan at AJC sport shop looking as well. As is stand I still need to sell my ar, shotgun and several left handed holsters first...
