E-mail response that application was approved and plastic in hand 14 - 21 days - April 27th (6:00 PM)

I got that same response.....March 6th.....So please do not hold your breath

They might even take a full 60 days to P R I N T my plastic!!

i emailed last week sometime -- havent heard back but i know its just a waiting deal -- below in sig for info

Just crush my hopes why don't you with the May 6th thing. Just checked my status online and it still says processing application. Not sure which wait is worse, waiting to get approved or being told you are approved and then waiting for your plastic.

how about just waiting for a pin?

I would definitely reccomend checking today if you mailed during March timeframe as DPS updated the site over the weekend and several of our comrades also reported a change in status.

Yes, the DPS did update this weekend. I check it on Friday and it was processing application.

I applied from Houston and DPS received my on 1/26 as well. I just received a phone call today that mine was accepted and complete, online still shows "Processing Application". Waiting to come in mail. 101 days from DPS received to complete. I was told it was released to printer and I should have it in 7-10 days but I hear other people having to wait 3 weeks for print/mail to complete. We'll see.

I agree, but it is what it is. I've seen some people go through in less than 60. I had no hold ups with the app. My background would of been done in Galveston and Harris counties. Dunno. But it is over!
