What a tragedy, another family ripped apart. Thank the Lord that the younger children were able to escape, however, their lives have been changed for ever.

Not necessarily. But more often than not there is some kind of trigger. For younger people who kill parents, it often involves being told they can't do something or denied money.

She became a LEO when she was 13 years old??
*********************************************************************************************************************
My preacher graduated from Chaplain school in the US Navy.
One of his classmates later got involved in a bad lifestyle and shot his pregnant wife to death.
This happened in Lindale, Smith County, Texas (on Tyler's northern boundary). He is residing
in Huntsville, or some such locale, for a long time. I don't know how long ago this happened.

In rural Millersburg, Holmes County, Ohio (outskirts of the middle of nowhere) today a 10-year-old boy was charged with murder for allegedly shooting his 46-year-old mother to death Sunday with a single .22 rifle shot to the head.
The rifle had been a Christmas present.
An older sister was present and was not injured.
The first link conveniently give the child's name and exact residential address:
