That's not good. I loathe HOAs and deed restrictions (usually run by self-important busy bodies). But they have a remarkably strong legal postion in most instances. I've seen liens placed by HOAs that held up the sale of a house. Scary stuff.
However, I don't care what any HOA rules or deed restrictions say, you come on MY property and crawl up on MY roof?!?!?! The writer of that letter had better be bluffing. Or he'd better bring the sheriff with him.

I have some that I'd be willing to trade for, you know, maybe a HK USPc 9mm, a $200 AR upper, or perhaps a box of .380. I keeeeeeeeed, I keeeeed.

I agree with the posters, except on one small point. If the animal in question was a tall purple dinosaur named Barney, that should be a felony.

I wish I had an HOA to do something with/about the white trash in the burned out hulk next door to me in our little backwards east Texas hamlet. The City Manager can't/won't enforce the laws/codes because he's not too bright plus his parents are some of the town's biggest slumlords.
Chin up, it can always be worse.

lol I went to fix a computer in a place like that a few days ago...
The computer was old as hell, and it had an old oreo cookie that had melted into the case. as in, it would not come off because it prob. just celebrated its 10th birthday. I thought I was going to be sick.
