Well after thinking about it for a while I finally broke down and bought some reloading equipment last week. I ended up purchasing a Lyman Turret II kit that included an "upgrade" to an electronic scale.

I loaded my first 50 rounds of .45 ACP and went to the range this afternoon. I messed up 3 rounds, but I was able to fix one, and I think I can fix one of the other ones with a "bullet puller."

The 48 that I shot worked flawlessly though.

Congrats on the investment! You'll soon find that reloading is just almost as fun as shooting, and you can afford to shoot more often now. Good move!

Just be REAL CAREFUL! I blew up my favorite gun by "MESSING UP A FEW ROUNDS"

Well my messed up rounds were readily apparant prior to firing... I inserted the first primer upside down, I seated the first bullet about an inch too low, and I crushed the sidewall of one case seating the bullet...

In case anyone is wondering which one I salvaged, it was the primer one...
