Is there anyone to contact about a Harris Co BG Check?

Just curious, but is there a number to call about a Harris Co BG check? They are the BIG hold up right now on my CHL. Montgomery and Collin Co sent back fairly quickly. Is everyone having this problem with Harris Co?
DPS Received Packet 3/9/09
DPS Cashed Money Order 3/12/09
Status Changed to
"Processing Application" 4/14/09
Received License ??????????

No, but many people contact their state reps to speed up the process a bit..

DPS cashed my check on 2/2/09 and I have had no glitches with the paperwork, fingerprints, or anything else. I have contacted both my senator and representative who have in turn called DPS, and DPS has subsequently called me to tell me they are "expediting" my application.
Despite these efforts, I am on day 149 of waiting, still waiting on the Harris county background check to come in.

I was told to contact our state reps and senators and let 'em know how frustrated we are.
That was the lady on the DPS 800-number who told me it.
