I'm a real computer dufus, but I'm wondering why I get notices of additions to posts that I initiated at times and at other times I don't. I just discovered one that had numerous helpful responses and I didn't know they were there. Is it best to look often rather than depend on e-mail notofication?

There's a check box to indicate whether you want to be notified of replies.
