WHY MEN ARE NEVER DEPRESSED:
Men Are Just Happier People--
Your last name stays put.
The garage is all yours.
Wedding plans take care of themselves. Chocolate is just another snack.
You can never be pregnant.
Car mechanics tell you the truth.
The world is your urinal.
You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky.
You don ' t have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt.
Same work, more pay.
Wrinkles add character.
People never stare at your chest when you ' re talking to them.
New shoes don ' t cut, blister, or mangle your feet.
One mood all the time.
Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat.
You know stuff about tanks and engines. A ten-day vacation requires only one suitcase.
You can open all your own jars.
You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness.
Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than enough. You never have strap problems in public.
You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes.
Everything on your face stays its original color.
The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades.
You only have to shave your face and neck.
You can play with toys all your life.
One wallet and one pair of shoes -- one color for all seasons.
You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look.
You can ' do ' your nails with a pocket knife.
You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache.
You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes.
No wonder men are happier.

Speaking of toys. A friend found an opportunistic purchase at Walmart and brought me my share at the office. Nothing like 2,200 rounds of .22 to make me giddy. In conjunction with a backorder that finally came in and I am ready for the 2009 Zombie Olympic Games baby!

I recently (2 days ago) talked to my wife and got her a 22 target pistol and was amazed to buy 500 rounds for 16 bucks

would it be a good training pistol? I can't afford to train as much as I would like with my .45 lol

I'd rather shoot, fish, camp out, paint, woodwork, etc., etc. with Mrs. Oldgringo (Martha) than with anyone else I know.
I have to wonder about all you other guys and your "boy's nights/weeks/months, etc. nights out" and your relationships ?
I'll swap photos.

it was a cheap gun only 339 and it's a 22. She shot my 9mm once and the sound scared her....
I told her I was either buying her a tazer or a firearm and she chose the latter so I got her a good starter pistol until she is more comfortable with the 9

She Who Must Be Obeyed is much easier on the eyes than you lot, and she occasionally can be talked into making me a sandwich.
Texas Women. Another proof of the existence of God.

Indeed they are. You can practice
much more cheaply for most of your drills, plus uits a gateway to enjoy a golflike side of pistol shooting. Can I put 10 rounds into a dime sized target at 10 yards
Ruger's cheap heavy barrel .22 is even designed to simulate a.45 with similar slide release and weight.

I resemble several of these remarks!
Oldgringo, I will agree that I'd rather do most anything with my wife than anyone else. We shoot together and hunt dove together and she has been pheasant and quail hunting with me, but she is a school teacher and when she gets time off during the school year, she would rather not spend the entire time hunting (like me). So me and the guys go to Kansas or Oklahoma quail or pheasant hunting and she goes and visits the grandkids in Arkansas.
