My wife had hers rejected and we got them retaken at League City police station and they used their own forms (which co-incidently looked identical to the ones the DPS sent )

Her new prints were accepted without question or any further issues. They were elcetronically taken to so the machine knows if it is a good print or not before they even get to the card.

Hope this helps.

Won't hurt to fill out as much information as you can on the new cards after getting them done a second time. I know that there was information that was not completed even after the prints were taken electronically. I would hate to see them mailed back to you.

Things like....your application number for starters :)...check, double chack and check again...don't give Austin a excuse to delay ... they already have lots of those lined up. :smash:

Let me give you a brief run down of what took place when I went to get my fingerprints done at the recommended DPS electronic fingerprint office. They will take the card you have now, and they will take your prints, and then run the card thru a laser printer, and at the same time place all the information you typed on you computer when you applied for the appointment. There will be some spots on the cards that are not filled out after they hand the cards back to you. I believe mine didn't have the place of employment filled out, or the reason for the being fingerprinted, along with place of birth. Read the card carefully before sending it back, and do not fill in any information until they give you back the card. These electronic places do mess up on cards and have spare cards there. Hope all works out well for you.
