your reporting of news events and "this day in history" has made me feel really smart .
whenever someone asks me " did you hear about ...? " , i just smile and say " yep "
i can more often than not , provide them with more details about the subject than they know .
TV news is ok, but not really detailed , and sometimes one sided.
what i really enjoy , are the different opinions and views expressed by the members of this forum.
i think i speak for a lot of us here when i say
.............................
Thank You

TV news in onesided? That's an understatement!
But, I agree. Thanks seamusTX. I appreciate what you do!

Thanks and you're welcome to all of you.
Most of this information is available through
Google News. You just have to search for the right terms (that's my trade secret).
BTW, nothing very interesting happened on this day in history, that I know of.

I may not post a comment in your thread every day, but I read it every day, and say a silent ty for your efforts.
I usually wait until right before I go to bed to read it. A perfect way to end the day.
Thank you Jim. Your efforts ARE noticed and appreciated.

Although I've never had the opportunity to impress friends with my newly acquired knowledge, I've certainly enjoyed reading the posts. I also appreciate you, Seamus.
