Pixelated Picture

I just received my letter about my incomplete application and it's telling me, "Photo of poor quality: Pixelated." I initially thought, "Cool, I'll just get another photo taken", but doesn't it need to have the signature of the person who took the fingerprints? I'll call DPS tomorrow; it'll stink if I have to track down the person who took my prints.

Last renewal cycle, I took photos of myself and my wife, at home with a digital camera, set against the same background with the camera on a tripod, at the exact same distance.

DPS accepted my picture and rejected my wife's with a similar note about a poor quality digital photograph.

? ?

Maybe your wife is just really low resolution?

I know Embalmo. The problem might have been "brightness.":

You do not need to get the replacement photo signed by the person who did your prints. If I am wrong on this point one of instructors can chime in, or you can call DPS to confirm before sending new photos.

I just talked to DPS, they are requesting new pictures from me also...they suggested Walgreens for passport photos :banghead:

Guys,

Yep, DPS said that no signature is required. My wife's app from the same class, camera, and mail date is still processing, hopefully we won't have to have her pic taken again. Thanks for the replies.
