In honor of the 40th anniversary of Mary Jo Kopechne's death, Obama is awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Ted Kennedy.

If what you say is the case, then I would suggest removing the thread alltogether. Theres lots of places on the web these folks can whine about Kennedy. I know there are some issues that are hard to keep a clean & civil pin over but we must.

We don't remove threads just because they are controversial. As long as the thread is in the correct area, the discussion stays civil and doesn't violate the forum rules, it is allowed. Too much censoring or over-moderation will kill a forum.
