Roy Baker Pancake Holster

Good Day to all.. I carry a Ruger Security Six, 357Mag. I know a lot of people think they are to bulky to carry concealed but the right holster makes all the difference in the world. I have a nice Galco that holds my revolver in tight but what I really want is a Roy Baker, original style pancake holster. I know Roy passed away some years ago so a new one is out of the question. I have been looking around for a used one at gun shows, auctions , ebay and under most rocks. If anyone has one like this please let me know. If your not wanting to part with it I'd like to get some measurements from yours and I will "attempt" to make one myself. There is a perfect example of the kind of Roy Baker Pancake holster I am looking for at the bottom of this link: http://www.outdoors.net/site/features/f ... rpage=2605" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(Original Roy Baker three-slot Pancake holster with thumbbreak )
The picture shows one with the very weapon I carry. Thanks :txflag:

Hi Joe & welcome to the forum! Glad to have you with us. And thanks for the link. Very informative.

Sorry I can't help you with the holster but I'll be on the lookout for one.

This thread about his patterns showed up on 1911forum.com: http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=240916" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

The OP may be able to help you in making a pancake style for your gun, as it looks like he has the original patterns to that holster.
