will this affect my app?

i got a speeding ticket tonite!......will this affect my chl app in any way? will they make me wait even longer?! after i was pulled over i got to thinking about being pulled over with a gun or guns in the car. i do go to the range frequently, what should i do if i am pulled over and dont have my chl? should i declare them or declare them only if the officer asks to search the car?

i dont have my chl yet and i carry a gun in my truck at all times but i am also always traveling i wouldnt declare it unless searched. now about the speeding ticket, i was in the process of getting my chl approved, i went down to renew my drivers license and never recieved them in the mail about a week ago i called to check on it and they said they hadnt mailed the drivers license because they were revoked, i had gotton a speeding ticket a year ago forgot about, even going to court, so i have got a failure to appear and and an unpaid speeding ticket so that is why they revoked it, so i was pretty scared but i still got the chl, i havent got the plastic yet but i was approved on august 8th so i wouldnt sweat it

If you already have your app in with DPS, and you got the speeding ticket after you turned it in, you've nothing to worry about,
IF you take care of the ticket asap. What ever you do take care of it. Don't let it go to warrant, or you
will experience some problems.
The MPA covers any person transporting a gun in their car. It's legal to carry guns in the car. Pistols have to be concealed....rifles and shotguns don't. And until you have the CHL in hand, do not carry a gun around(except going to your car, and to the range FROM your car, and vice versa)

thanks!...dps has had my app for over 2 months. and i am going to take care of the ticket.
