Tracey is an aquaintance of mine in the political circles I travel in...She was very patient, much more than I would have been...

But now a lot of people are going to see how cowardly, and inwardly correupt and arrogant these liberal/socialist (statists) really are...

If we can keep the ire up and the momentum going...The next election cycle should take some of the steam out of a lot these statists wish to do...

Afraid getting rid of Charles Gonzalez is all but impossible--that district has been in the Gonzalez family for decades and I think they think the district is theirs by divine right. I still remember a couple of stories about Henry B. from my brief tenure working in DC.
SJL's cell phone antics just made me more aware of the arrogance of some of our elected "officials."
By contrast, Dr. Michael Burgess was on Fox and Friends this morning talking about the House version of the health care bill and he was calm, knowledgeable, and eloquent and, yes, he says he's read HR 3200, all 1017 pages of it. Think the 26th District is lucky to have him.
Hope this general dissatisfaction with many of our elected officials is still simmering at the 2010 and 2012 elections.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here: you can't fix stupid, but you don't have to vote for them.

Forgot to add Gene Green, 29th District, to the list. He opposes photo ID's to vote, but wants to use photo ID's for admission to his town hall meetings.

I haven't seen it on the news in Houston yet. And are you aware of the fake pediatrician? Don't know if she was a SJL plant or not but she was an Obama state delegate and is a grad student in SJL's hubby's dept at UofH. And claims to not know him. Yeah, right.

Unfortunately, I see no way SLJ will be replaced. Even by an honest Democrat, let alone a Republican.

I live in the 26th district, I was at the Burgess town hall last Saturday in Denton and I totally agree with you in regards to Dr. Burgess. He only spoke to the crowd (1000+) for maybe 5 minutes, presented a postumus (sp?) award to a fallen hereo from the Korean conflict, and answered questions and let we the people speak for the remaining hour.

My older brother has a system for voting. He lives in Houston. He will not vote for anyone with an (I) next to their name on the ballot. Meaning he has no use for incumbants. They get set in their ways and become oblivious to the needs of the voters. Rotate them out like the rotten vegetables at the market and keep getting fresh new ones in to choose from. His view may be a little extreme, but there is a certain truth to it.......
