I was in Victoria a couple weeks ago in a hole in the wall diner waiting for my car to be fixed. Man, they had fried everything. They even had fried corn on the cob. I'll admit that I'm as "red-necky" as can be but COME ON!! I wanted to order it out of pure curiosity but I was facing an unexpected car repair and didn't want to spend the money.

You better enjoy that good ole greasy spoon while you can because if we get NOBama care, that food will be classified right next to heroin. Oops, I got political.

i think if i could smash that down enough , i could get a bite or two off of it .

there's a little place in Tomball called "Mels Diner" that makes a burger similar to that .
all i remember is that it has a pound of bacon on it .

if you finish it in an hour , you get your name on the wall .

as a side note Lyle Lovett is a frequent customer .

I have heard of this place. I have yet to make it there though.

Co-worker did. He said he and his three kids devoured it in like 15 minutes. Next time he's gonna make two. He promises to make one up and bring it to work for one of our more or less quarterly bbq's... I can hardly wait!
