Houston: Fatal drive-by shooting in south fringe

A 24-year-old man was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting in the 5800 block of Maywood Avenue in Houston around 1 a.m. today.
Police are searching for a maroon Chevrolet Astro van. (I know that really narrows it down.)

I'm not familiar with this area. It is just outside the Beltway between Post Oak and Fuqua. It appears to be a decent neighborhood.
