Opinions on Gerber Steadfast Knife

I have no Gerber knives. I have a Ken Onion Tanto from Kershaw that I like very much.

if i'm not mistaken , isn't the Steadfast a fixed blade ?

It is a fixed blade and I've ordered it.
It's large and has a kraton handle. Hard handles on knives are typical, but in this case I have a working knife that won't be as tough on my hands.
I found it in my Cabelas catalog and they want $60.00 plus shipping and tax.
I found it for $35.00 at Gateway knives, shipping $5.50 and no tax.
Cabelas is a fine place to start...
