CO: Man threatens to shoot horses to protest code violation

In Weld County, Colorado, a man who apparently is in charge of a horse farm was cited for a property code violation. The details of the legal proceedings are not stated in this story, but he is sentenced to start a jail stay next week.
He has threatened to kill a herd of horses in protest, and has circulated flyers asking for others to help shoot them.
I will let his statement speak for itself:

It's a shame that kooks like this tar all RKBA advocates, but I don't know what to do about it.

I will let his statement speak for itself:
The sheriff's office says that anyone shooting or killing horses will be prosecuted for felony animal cruelty."The first horse that we're gonna kill is a beautiful gray stallion by the name of Independence,... When we shoot him with one shot, make no mistake about it, it will be the first shot of the second American Revolution. You think I'm kidding? You just sit by and watch what happens."
