"Do you trust me?"
No I don't. But please don't take it personally, I really don't trust ANYONE! :nono:

What an absolutely senseless death. One of my best friends was a Marine. One of my wife's "Godparents" was a Marine officer. I can't imagine either of them would acquiesce to such a thing. This reminds me of the stupidity of the (fictional?) "Code Red" from the movie "A Few Good Men".

More a reflection on their upbringing and social mores than the Marine Corps. The Corps didn't get it all out of them in boot camp.

That just blows my mind. I tell you if anyone would have pointed their gun at me while I was over there and asked me that question, I would have planted my fists in their face and my boots where the sun dont shine. Thats just ridiculous, stupid and careless. I trusted the men next to me because they did NOT do stupid stuff like that.

Family, friends, a few hunting buddies, etc., - I trust not to point a gun at me.

Let's see how can I put it . . . this story reinforces the sterotype of Marines not being Mensa candidates.
