Kholster Review

just wanted to share my experience with this budget conscious holster .
http://www.kholster.com/products.htm

overall nice holster for the money .
it has steel belt clips , and can be worn with a tucked in shirt .

i did a little "surgery" on mine to suit my needs .
mainly to clear the area around the mag release button to prevent it from being pushed
by the holster .

i used a razor blade and some sanding along the edges to smooth things out .

this is a before picture

this is after i modified it

$ 45.00 ..which is the normal price .
sometimes they are on sale for $ 36.00

free shipping . customer service is great which makes a big difference to me .

i forgot to mention that the retention is excellent .
there's almost a snap sound and feel when you insert the gun .

Nice work. Although, you did cut away much of your ability to adjust the cant. However, if you've found the cant you like then there's no need for much more adjustment.

The click sound probably will probably last until the leather softens up a bit to relax the fit in the kydex.

yeah , i've already been using it for a few weeks now
so i have adjusted the cant to where it works perfectly for me before i did the trimming .

i have to say it wasn't very comfortable at first ,
but after trimming it down its like i'm wearing a cloud
on my hip .

what really helped was sanding the edge down to keep it from cutting into my skin .

Wow! That even LOOKS like it's comfortable USA1 ! Good job on trimming too! You took off a lot of leather, but looking at before & after pics, I can see how much better it is now. I'm even more interested now than when I told ya over a month ago.

Good post and thanks! :thumbs2:

Wow #2 ! I just looked at their limited lifetime warranty ! It's unheard of.......

"IMPORTANT: Any modifications you make to your Kholster DO NOT void your warranty! So do what you want to make it fit your style. If the Leather, Kydex, Clips, or Hardware ever fail, we'll fix it for free." It's hard to beat a deal like that.
