Either that dude was trying to shoot the rabbit, or his rifle is not sighted in properly. I can understand the first miss, but he must have seen the bullet strike in the dirt, and the range to the deer didn't change, so he had no excuse for missing the second time unless he was just foolin' around.

Blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.

Nice buck, loosely sighted shots. He was shooting to high, either holding up at high distance or rifle not sighted correctly. 0-200 yrd should be grouping 1"-2"

Here are the comments from the guy that posted the video...
To make a long story short, my son dropped my rifle one week before this hunt, after making two repetitive shots with custom loads, I knew it was not me. 15 minutes later, buck came back out and I had a chance to get my other gun in the truck and harvest him, however I did not film the fatal shot, but I have pictures. Please notice innocent bystander (rabbit) on the first shot. I was shooting a 7mm Magnum.

Sounds like he needs a better scope: my old 4x Weaver has taken a fall from a moving Gator and was off less than 2" at 100yds afterward.

I realize that I have not been hunting in years, but are Bucks really that stupid?
