Dallas store clerk loses gunfight, but wounds his killer.

Unfortunately the good guy in this gunfight lost his life.
It seems that the clerk should have had the advantage since he opened
fire as the robber was leaving. No word on what kind of weapons were
used during the encounter.
What was not stated in this story (I read it elsewhere) is that the good guy
did hit the bad guy in the thigh with at least one shot.
The bad guys had moved a bed to the storage unit to hide out.
When the cops arrested them, the thigh wound had not been treated properly
and the bad guy's health was going downhill.
