Progress.... i guess

I talked to the DPS a few minutes ago and they finally got my last background check in today. The girl told me that now it is just waiting to be reviewed and there is no telling how long this will take. I guess this is considered progress, but still does not seem that way.

I'm glad you called. The one time I called after the website changed to 'processing application', was about 3 weeks before I received my license. If it's in final review then I'd say you are getting pretty close.

that's good news .
it could be any day now .
mine went from .."background checks back in" to "application approved" in 4 days .
and my history wasn't even squeaky clean .

hbk I'm in the same boat.. hell even the same submission and receipt dates. Did not call them yet as I just sent them an email that I was waiting on a reply to. Basically asking them why I've been denied since technically they haven't told me they need more time and its been 90+ days

Yes, after they talked to your bride, it was really a crapshoot if you'd ever see your plastic. :-)
