I went a gawked at some AR's today, I think that is what I am saving my pennies for now. Be sure and let us know what you think of the M&P.

My buddy has an M&P15 and when he got it the gas block was mounted crooked. It shoot fine, but we couldn't mount a sight to the gas block like he wanted to. He installed a quad rail and now its not a problem b/c he mounted his sights on the rail. The gas block is still crooked though. Great shooting rifle though.

Great looking M&P MOE. I picked up a couple of the M&P VTAC models and really like them. I can put rails where I want them which helps keep the weight down. Feels real "balanced' to me. I noticed that you don't use a vertical grip and I think I'm going to get a different "folding" grip or not use one at all, haven't decided.

I just saw this on the web. I don't know when it will be available but it looks like a great ideal and very natural looking/feeling I would think. My .02

Thanks for the link, think I'll try one out. I really only use the vertical grip more as a "hand stop" anyway. The new MagPul grip looks promising.

I think that's the first rifle I've seen that looks good with the Magpul handguards. I like it.

I'm building my future AR off of that design, Magpul everything.

I was looking at the M&P's - I asked a dealer about them and I was told that it may not be milspec. Has anyone heard or know about that?

Very nice rifles by the way

I just cant justify getting an AR.

I dont hunt
All of the ranges I go to only let you shoot from a bench.
I can get a 10/22 for so much less. and still have enough to pick up a pistol
I'm still jealous
