On 11/22/1963, Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippitt was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald
in the Oak Cliff area of the City of Dallas.
The officer's car was a 1963 Ford Galaxie, #10.
His unit was put back in normal police service the day he was killed.
The car noted in the story was used in a 1977 JFK movie.
