Hey guys

I have a good friend in Austin who is looking for a Walther P22; he fell in love with my old one and now wants one of his own as a Christmas present to himself.

He prefers the 3.4" model over the 5" and would like to spend under $300 (preferably a good bit under ) if possible. Let me know what you have! I'll be down there next weekend (Friday through Sunday most likely) and can meet you in town (he's near Georgetown).

I did most of the mods to mine and it is now very reliable. I can shoot Federal Champion bulk ammo through it all day long with no problems.

Thanks for the info... neither of us are great at working on guns, but maybe I can find an already-modded one

I never had issues with mine. I wonder if those mods are absolutely necessary...

I have one Ive been considering posting here - Its the 5 " Barrel with the laser
Black - 2 magazines - I'm sure I still have the box and all the paper work - probably 200 rds through it.
No issues - I recently got my 20 year old Buckmark back from the Ex-wife so now id like to use the P22 money to buy something a little bigger ...

I live 10 miles north of Dallas

Since the longer barrel and laser put the price over $400 - Im not going to sell it for " a good bit under 300"

if the wife didnt like it so much, I would sell mine in a heartbeat.
Really invest in a Ruger MkIII, better gun, better performance.

Yeah, he just wants something used and cheap. Later on he'll have the money for a more expensive gun but he's not wanting to spend a lot right now... he just loves the P22 for some reason, so I'm trying to help him find one

I miss my P22, it was stupid selling it. I loved the way it shot and looked (especially).
