The Schmidt-Rubin Karabiner 31 (K31) is considered to be one of the most accurate military surplus rifles available. This detachable magazine fed rifle features a unique straight pull bolt.

The K31 is chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss which is ballistically comparable to the .308.

All serial numbers match and the bore, as with most all K31's, is shiny with sharp lands and grooves.

My hubby and I found one of these at a pawn shop last year for $500. We wanted to get it but it was too expensive and we didn't have the cash anyway at the time, even if we were willing to pay that much.

I'll show him this post later and see what he thinks - we still want one. :)
