I'm seriously considering buying one.

Ten shot capacity and a price that will drop your jaw, but man, it's a high quality revolver.

I'm rationalizing that the cost saving in ammo (I like to shoot many bunches) will ultimately pay for the pistol, or something like that...

Anyway, anyone have an experience with one?

I like to shoot 22s because they're cheap but if you go in the hole for almost $1000 for the gun I'm not sure you will ever break even in your lifetime. It does look impressive though.

Carter Country quoted $789.00 if I recall correctly and then I found it for a $680.00 on the internet, but for .22 pistol I find either a tad more than I care to pay.

What I really want is a Bersa FS22, but can't find one.

I agree with above posts. Even $700 in the hole for a .22lr revolver is pretty steep. If that is what tickles your fancy then there is nothing left to do but buy it, but I could not justify it personally.

Abraham, I have one (I used to buy one of everything it seems). I like wheel guns and it's nice for that. Nice heavy quality frame.
Not as fun to shoot as something like a Ruger semi-auto in extending shooting probably. But accurate and if you shoot other wheel guns fits the training scenario. BTW Abraham, in terms of bang for the buck and fun, if you have a 1911, Sig, Glock or such that you could put a 22 conversion kit in for a couple hundred dollars it is a lot of fun to shoot and a good training aid. I saw Charles Cotton had one for sale (I think for a 1911) in the classifieds.

That part about spending $1000 to save money shooting .22 isn't quite the way it works.
That 617 will always be worth what you pay for it. It's like owning a classic car - you drive it for free, excepting gas and oil.
With a nice gun, all it costs you over time is the price of the ammo.

Most guns hold most of their value, but S&W & Colts beat the average.

I thought the original post was from the angle of .22s. being cheap enough to rationalize buying the gun. That point of view along with the above reminder of not losing value should give you enough rationalizing points to go and get you one asap.
