Where does this stand now? I know Bush wrote it into law, but after the elctions, I know there were challenges to it and a judge claimed that there would have to be an "environmental study." Are we safe to so carry or not at this time?
Thanks

I think 11 Feb 2010 is the magic date that one can carry a CW in a NPS IF there is no reversal/recension/amendment, etc. by 10 Feb.
HOWEVER, One CAN NOT CARRY in any Federal building where feds are working in a NPS or anywhere else that feds are working.
Is this right?

Yes, February is the effective date of this law.
Carry in a "federal facility" remains illegal under 18 USC 930. That law defines "federal facility" as "
...a building or part thereof owned or leased by the Federal Government, where Federal employees are regularly present for the purpose of performing their official duties." That's why freestanding restrooms don't count.
Other important notes: it's a misdemeanor, not a felony, for simple possession without intent to commit a crime. And, the law requires notices to be "posted conspicuously at each public entrance", and "no person shall be convicted" if such notice isn't posted.
